What are the payment deadlines?

How do I update my address information with the county?
You may update your address by visiting the Assessment Department (see Pay My Property Taxes for office locations and business hours) or by completing the online address change form.
How do I add or remove a vehicle from my existing individual personal property account?
To add or remove a vehicle, submit the required documentation—such as your vehicle title or registration—to your county assessor’s office by email or in person. If you plan to visit in person, you can schedule an appointment through the QLess Kiosk or by coming into the office. What if I have questions about my tax balance or something seems incorrect?
If you have questions about your tax balance or notice any discrepancies on your bill, please contact the Assessment Department at assessment@jacksongov.org or (816) 881-3530, or the Collection Department at collections@jacksongov.org or (816) 881-3232.
How can I access my official property tax receipts?

How do I get a property tax waiver?
If you didn’t own a vehicle in Jackson County or anywhere in Missouri on January 1 of last year, you may qualify for a property tax waiver (also called a Statement of Non-Assessment). To request yours, visit Obtaining a Statement of Non-Assessment.
